Chapter 1227: Not Praising You for Fear of Making You Prideful

There were four Gold items, one Dark Gold item and one Dark Gold Mold. There was one item less than Sevine. These items were all auctioned off between the elite members. They all knew that the Epic equipment would be worth much more, so the prices for these items weren’t low either.

However, these items couldn’t currently be used, and normal players were much less likely to use a Level Reduction Gem on a Gold item.

In other words, Level Reduction Gems were for elite players and not ordinary players. After all, there were many gold coins floating around at the top and these stones couldn’t be removed once inserted. As the level of the players increased, equipment with stones in them became more and more worthless.

However, what was really eye-catching was the level 60 Epic equipment.

The first Epic equip was a two-handed sword suitable for Warriors, Paladins and some Hunters. These Hunters could carry this longsword and used when encountering enemies at close range.

When the weapon was dropped, the excitement among the players immediately started bubbling.

Even the players who were out of consideration couldn’t stop themselves from talking about it. They wondered who would receive this weapon. Was it going to be the Berserker Moonlight, Vice President Wandering, Drifting Rain or someone else?

Logically, it would be given to Moonlight as he was a professional player. Any club member would receive the benefit of the priority rules.

However, he had just received an Epic item for which he paid 5000 points. After losing 5000 points, other Warriors or Paladins like Wandering would have an easier time winning the bid.

Nevertheless, everything hinged on what Lu Li decided.

Throughout the history of the game, there were countless guilds that rose and fell. When you looked at the guilds that rose and achieved great power, the common thing between all of them was their model of authority.

Lu Li had the absolute authority in this guild, and even Wandering couldn’t go against him.

If Moonlight was the one who said that he should take the item, Wandering would not be happy about that. Perhaps it might be more reasonable for him to borrow the item whenever he needed to play in a match, and he would pay a few points as a rental.

“This weapon will be assigned to Mu Qiu for 5000 points. If he doesn’t have enough, then he will owe the remainder,” Lu Li said firmly.

Everyone was surprised, but no one questioned his decision.

Lu Li obviously didn’t need to answer to anyone; it was fine as long as he felt like the most appropriate person was Mu Qiu. As for Mu Qiu himself, he was somewhat embarrassed by this surprise.

He wasn’t a core professional player of Ruling Sword; why should he take priority?

Besides, Mu Qiu was a healer and this two-handed sword was a damage-output type of item. Why would a healer need a two-handed sword like this? He should have been taking a hammer and shield that had healing properties.

Lu Li didn’t explain either, as this involved Mu Qiu’s fighting style, which was something that needed to be kept secret.

Mu Qiu wasn’t just a simple healer. He had some damage output that relied on Intelligence and critical hits. This route was even more effective than Green Flag Wine’s Tire Killer build, and could easily deal a tremendous amount of damage. By that time, his healing would not be as strong, but he would deal a serious amount of damage.

This two-handed sword didn’t add Strength or Agility, but it did provide 35% Critical Hit and was one of the few high Critical Hit Weapons. In terms of special effects, there was no Strength requirement for any of the skills.

On the contrary, the damage caused by the third Special Effect was affected by Intelligence. Mu Qiu’s main Attribute was Intelligence and if there was a Critical Hit with this skill, then the amount of damage that he would deal would be unimaginable.

If you gave this item to Moonlight, the third skill would be completely wasted.

If you gave this item to other damage output professions like Paladins, they would be able to use the first and second Special Effect, but only Mu Qiu could unlock the potential from the third Special Effect.

After Mu Qiu put on this item, he lost some healing ability. This was a blessing in disguise, but no one understood it yet. Only Lu Li, who had experienced Rebirth, would dare to give him this two-handed sword.

The second Epic item was a Druid equip, but this item was worse.

Ruling Sword didn’t have a proper Druid professional player. Even the entirety of Dawn didn’t have a proper Druid professional player.

“How about we give this item to Hachi Chan. Do you want it?” Lu Li asked.

“This seems to be much better than what I currently have. Okay, I’ll take it,” the little girl agreed. She handed in 8000 points and all the players in Dreadmaul Stronghold were stunned. The other Druids shyly bowed their heads as they knew they couldn’t compete with that.

Hachi Chan was a well-known tycoon within the guild. She increased her points by completing and sharing quests for Instance Dungeons.

However, this wasn’t the main reason she had become a tycoon. The main reason was because the equipment and items she received from the quests were too good. None of the Druids could even come close to what she was wearing.

With all these benefits, it would be a surprise if she wasn’t a tycoon by now.

They thought that the looting session for this Boss was over, but they didn’t expect Remnant Dream to pull out another item. The item was obviously made of cloth and was shaped like a bracer.

“It is a third Epic item!”

Lu Li didn’t know how to praise this young girl. He knew better than anyone that she had made everyone proud. If anyone else could make a level 60 Wild Boss drop three Epic items, it would be a miracle.

Finding two pieces was quite ordinary, and depending on your luck, those items could be good or bad.

If you were lucky, there was a small chance that a third item could appear. Although Grol the Destroyer was quite a strong Boss, he was not the most powerful level 60 Boss, so he had a lower chance of dropping 3 Epics.

In any case, Lu Li was happy to accept that Remnant Dream had managed to loot another piece.

This Bracer came with three special effects that could bring about a burst of damage. Lu Li assigned this item to Kitty Likes Meat and ignored the resentful stare of Fat Monkey.

Fat Monkey needed to find more items that would help him be more survivable.

Kitty Likes Meat had a more balanced build, and even if she received a high-burst item, it wouldn’t affect her overall survivability. Lu Li hoped that this item would be put to good use in a critical time of attack.

She had joined the Ruling Sword club for less than a season and was not a member of the core Instance Dungeon group. She had only been to the Instance Dungeons in the last few runs, so the number of points she had was quite pitiful.

“Let’s not disband for now. Please stand by,” Lu Li ordered.

This confused the players who had participated in the event. They had all just fought two Bosses, so what were they waiting for? Were they going to fight another Boss?

There was no shortage of spies among them that quickly relayed Lu Li’s order.

However, they didn’t know what Lu Li’s next goal was, because Lu Li only took the members of the Xin Xin Mercenary Group and several other high-level elite players.
