Vis’kag the Bloodletter!

This was another weapon with powerful stats, but neither Lu Li nor Water Fairy really wanted it, since it was a weapon for Battle Thieves.

As for Vis’kag, there was a silly story behind him.

During a battle against the Orcs, Vis’kag lost an eye and arm. As a result, he lost his battle prowess.

After this, he would wander in the bars in the Eastern Kingdom, and was often found either mind-numbingly drunk or bragging about his Medal of Valour. One day, when he was so poor that he couldn’t even to pay for his alcohol, Lord Prestor walked into the bar.

He paid for Vis’kag’s and brought him back to Arathi. Vis’kag decided to swear loyalty to the Lord after witnessing his power.

The lord was extremely satisfied with his new servant, because he found that his new servant had a sense of bloodlust within him. Prestor then decided to give his servant a new arm. From then on, his identity as a killer was restored and he became Lord Prestor’s most loyal guard.

One day, Vis’kag lost to Rohan in battle.

The lord’s attention immediately went to Rohan. As a result, Vis’kag was never used by the lord again. He was full of shame and could not forgive himself. Then, he decided to look for the lord’s daughter, Onyxia, hoping for another chance to prove his strength.

The princess looked at him in disdain and told him that it was only possible if she saw the Bloodlust ability that her father admired so much.

Vis’kag then took off his clothes, grabbed his sword and made countless deep cuts into his body. As the blood slowly dropped down and pooled at his feet, he realised that the princess was not moved by his actions at all. Then, he decided to impale his sword through his eyeballs and skinned his own face.

Onyxia was finally shocked at his actions. She didn’t think that a human was capable of such terrors. She realised that this person would still be valuable alive, but it was too late. Vis’kag fell to the ground and stared at her through his blood-filled eyes.

Onyxia crouched over him, took his sword, and rammed it through his chest.

Vis’kag screamed in pain one last time and died.

Even Onyxia was in shock at his Bloodlust, so she stored away his sword. As for the lord who Vis’kag swore his absolute loyalty to, it was as if he had forgotten about him. Vis’kag never crossed his mind, not even once.

The lord in this story was the Black Dragon Princess’ father, Deathwing. This pair of father and daughter disguised themselves as humans in Stormwind City and had quite a high standing.

Lu Li decided to store away this sword. Even if he didn’t use it, it would still be quite valuable in the guild vault.

Mature Black Dragon Sinew!

After defeating Majordomo Executus, he would leave behind a box. There was a purple material within the box called Ancient Petrified Leaf which was the trigger item for the Epic Hunter quest.

The Mature Black Dragon Sinew was one of the materials needed in this quest.

This Boss dropped too many items for Hunters.

Because Remnant Dream had bid for many items before, this item was taken by Bearded Zaza. Lu Li didn’t favour Remnant Dream that much. She wasn’t unhappy about it either, since she had benefited greatly from this raid.

Ruling Sword’s distribution was quite fair. Very few people would be like Haze.

Lu Li couldn’t deal with these types of people well. He didn’t want to offend Peerless City – after all, they were allies. The trio of Ruling Sword, Drizzle Court and Peerless City was a force to be reckoned with, but the people that Soul Eater deployed were too annoying.

Haze was the leader of the Hunter department too.

Water Fairy and her father had a fallout, which affected her influence in the game. Peerless City gained the most out of the three during these bad times. However, seeing how Soul Eater had sent Haze to him only showed his incompetency in selecting players properly.

“There aren’t any problems with Soul Eater, right?” Lu Li quickly asked Water Fairy after finishing the Instance Dungeon.

“What problems would he have?” Water Fairy clearly didn’t care too much.

“Let’s talk a bit about Soul Eater. You seem to trust him quite a bit.” Lu Li didn’t realise that there was a hint of jealousy in his tone.

“He was one of the first ones to play the game with me. His management skills are quite good. He could handle big or small responsibilities well. It could be said that he managed Falling Star. The very beginnings of Drizzle Court were also managed by him. Then...” Water Fairy explained, then hesitated a little.

“What happened?” Lu Li asked.

“He suddenly had some weird thoughts,” Water Fairy said unnaturally.

Although Lu Li’s EQ was quite low, he was still able to understand what these weird thoughts were. He couldn’t help but pity Soul Eater. After all, his infatuation had been played off as having weird thoughts. It was quite sad.

“At that time, we were about to split the guild into branches, so I sent him out to handle things alone,” Water Fairy said.

“With Peerless City being what it is today, his abilities didn’t go unnoticed.”

Lu Li admired him quite a bit. His environment growing up was not any better than Lu Li’s, but his achievements thus far were also because of Water Fairy’s financial support.

“Unfortunately, the Stronghold has already been taken over by Wings of Dawn,” Water Fairy sighed.

The two of them just talked and talked. Even if they ran out of things to talk about, they would still continue to try and find something. They didn’t want to part, until Vegetarian Mosquito looked for them.

“There’s something that I want to talk to Water Fairy about...”

“I’ll head off and do some quests then. I haven’t done quests in a while,” Lu Li said.

“Let’s go together. I’m quite tired after that run. We can find someplace and just hang out,” Water Fairy suggested. She wasn’t sure what Vegetarian Mosquito wanted to talk about, but after what had happened with Haze, it could be guessed that it was something about him.

Vegetarian Mosquito chose the location, which was a little tavern in a small village.

Once upon a time, this was the frontline defense against the Undead. However, the Undead army decided to change their offensive direction, so this village that was held by both the Horde and Alliance was forgotten. There also weren’t many Undead monsters and the EXP was quite low too, so very few players came here.

The Undead boss of the tavern handed them a few glasses of alcohol, then went to the back and slept.

The green-coloured alcohol had a strange smell, so neither of them three dared to try it.

“There were lots of people before, so I didn’t bring this up. I’ve had my guesses about many things.” Clearly, Vegetarian Mosquito had been thinking about it for a while.

“What are you thinking about?”

No matter what he said, it would be difficult to make excuses to avoid it.

“A position,” Vegetarian Mosquito helplessly said.

“I actually just wanted to focus on competitions. Unfortunately, many frustrating things have happened. Peerless City has been unreliable as of late and since it was you who brought me over at first, I wanted to talk to you.”

“Alright, go on then,” Water Fairy urged, suddenly becoming serious.

“I suspect that Wings of Dawn knows our formation layout within the Stronghold. The loss of our Stronghold is not really our fault,” Vegetarian Mosquito said with great resolve.
